Yiannis was born and lives in Chania. He's a flatwater kayaking former athlete, and a current kayak, canoe and SUP umpire for Hellenic Federation, with a history of participation and awards in Hellenic Championships and local races. He is an undergraduate Production and Management Engineering student at Technical University of Crete (TUC). 

 

He is licensed motorboat driver and coast lifeguard and is planning to aquire as much outdoors rescue related certifications as he can.

 

He loves and respects the sea, the mountains, and the outdoors in general. He’s young, and eager to learn and experience as much as he can. He also loves meeting and connecting with people in the traditional, Cretan way. Lastly, he speaks English fluently.
