A rich hiking two days between the rocks and the monasteries of Meteora will compensate us with the wonderful view of the rocks and the guided tours to the monasteries, Varlaam, Megalo Meteora and Agia Triada. On the first day our hike starts from The Square in Kastraki. With a visit to Agios Georgios "Mandila" we continue on an old path and traditional cobbled path to the Monastery of Varlaam. After our visit to the Monastery of Varlaam, we continue to the Monastery of metamorphosis tou Sotiros or "great meteor". The first half of the descent is by a different path and then we end up again in the square of the village of Kastraki.

On our second day our hike starts from Kalambaka, the largest town in Meteora and after passing the Byzantine church, we will continue on a beautiful, uphill and shapely cobbled path to the monastery of Agia Triada in 2 hours. We return to Kalambaka and our starting point in 1.5 hours.
