Lefkada, Kefalonia, Ithaki 14 days trekking
1sr day: Athens
Arrival in Athens
Depending on arrival time, we will visit on day 1 or day 14 the city of Athens, Monastiraki, Plaka, Acropolis and the new Acropolis museum.
2nd day: Athens-Lefkada
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by bus to Lefkada. It takes appx 7 hrs, since it is appx 380 km. We will arrive in Lefkada in the afternoon.
3rd day: Lefkada Nidri – Katarraktis – Nidri
In the morning, breakfast and we start the walk from Nidri, our walk is in a small road and we pass through olive trees. We enjoy the waterfall and if someone wants to get wet with the cold water it is possible… We swim in teams of 2 in the small “lake” of the waterfall.
We start the way back and we will have lunch in Nidri.
Walking time: 2hrs
In the afternoon we will make a city tour in the city of Lefkada, we will enjoy the small roads in the city as well we will visit many small churches of the city of Lefkada.

4th day: Lefkada
Englouvis.
(Agios Donatos) – Stavrotas - (Agios Donatos)
Eglouvi is situated in the centre of the island and constitutes one of the most beautiful villages in the inland of Lefkada. Mountainous and surrounded by lush greenery, Eglouvi is located at an altitude of 730m.
Departure by bus or taxi from our hotel to light a candle in the chapel of Aghios Donatos and enjoy the magical view of the highest place of the island, from the small church of Aghios Elias.
Then we will visit one of the most fantastic beaches of Lefkada, Milo where we will swim in the Ionian waters.

5th day: ferry to Kefalonia.
It takes appx 1 hour with the ferry to Kefalonia.
Arrival in Kefalonia at the port of Sami from where we will be transfered to the village of Agia Efthimia where we will spend 4 nights.
Kefalonia
Sami - Agii Fanentes – Paleokastro - Antisamos
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by van or a taxi to Sami bay, where we will start the walk all the way to Acropolis of Sami and the monastery of Agioi Fanetes. This is ruins of monastery, not a monastery that gives services and not monks live here. We continue to Paliokastro and Antisamos.

6th day: Kefalonia Megas Soros (1628m) – Chionistra
The walk is through a part of the National Forest of Ainos.
This is a very well marked path from the National park where we start the walk. We start from the Center of the Environmental Education sign and we first walk to Stavros peak. The view is really unique.
Walking time 3.30-4 hrs
7th day: Kefalonia Agia Effimia – Tarkasata – Drakopoulata - Agia Effimia
This is a very interesting and nice walk. In the beginning the path is uphill but with a great view. We will visit the Tarkasata village, destroyed by the earthquake and from there we will continue all the way to Drakopoulata and back to Agia Effimia.

8th day: Kefalonia Agia Effimia - Mirtos
Breakfast and departure for Myrtos. We walk through agricultural areas down to the famous Myrtos beach where we will spend our day.

9th day: Ithaki
From Agia Effimia, in the morning we will take the bus to Sami and ferry to Ithaka where we will stay for 4 nights. (ferry appx 45 min-1 hour)
Panoramic view over Vathy
Vathi-Skinos-Gidaki-Vathi
Breakfast at the hotel and departure directly out of the hotel to the beach of Skinos, one of the best beaches in Ithaki island. From Skinos, there is the beginning of the path to the beach of Gidaki, one of the most pure and virgin places in the island with no roads and only walkers can go there.
10th day: Ithaki Kathara-Anogi-Kioni
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by bus or taxi for the «Monastère des Kathares» After the visit of the monastery, we will continue to Anogi and Kioni. From Kioni, we go back by taxi boat (weather persmits)

11th day: Ithaki Stavros- Exogi
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by bus to Stavros for appx 30 minutes. After arriving in Stavros, we will visit the palace of Odysseus and from there to exogi. From Exogi, back to the city and to the port of Piso Aetos.

12th day: Nymphes cave
by taxi or bus to Grotte des Nymphes cave where we will start the walk. We continue to Perahori and Aretousa and to Pera Pigadi. From Pera Pigadi, back to Vathy by boat.

13th day: Ithaka-Athens
Departure by boat to Patras or Astakos-Killini depending on the ferries, and transfer to Athens.
We will arrive in Athens in the afternoon.
14th day:Transfer to the airport

Insurance: Limited insurance is held by the operator. The client acknowledges and accepts that there may be no policy covering the Company’s liability to its clients for death, injury, damage or loss occurring anywhere in the world. The client also specifically acknowledges that with respect to passenger accident liability cover this cover may be very limited or may not exist at all. The client acknowledges that the company has taken reasonable steps in safeguarding its liability. Although the Company does hold various insurances this booking condition states that the client must assume he/she is not covered by any Company insurance policy, including all liability insurance, for death, injury, damage or any other loss.
Period: On Request Basis from April to October.
Transportation: We travel by our own mini-bus, which leaves us to walk and continues, with our baggage, to the next place where we will stay for the night.
Accommodation: Hotels in the cities, village pensions throughout the trip (all with private facilities).
The trip prices are based on double occupancy.
Food: Every morning we have breakfast in the hotels, picnic lunch en route and a dinner at local tavern. (Vegetarians are welcome on the trips)
