Dimitra was born and lives in Crete. An early interest in languages and translations led to academic studies at Universities in Greece, France and England. Dimitra's current job includes translation, she is fluent in English and French but can also speak some German.

Dimitra enjoys travelling and has visited America, Europe, Asia and the middle East.

A lover of nature, swimming and the outdoors, Dimitra has walked many of Crete's mountains, gorges, valleys and coastal paths- often ending the day by cooling off with a swim in the sea.

A good communicator, organiser and administrator, Dimitra is very sociable and enjoys the company of people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds.
