Alpine travel is one of the most considered companies in the alternative tourism sector in Greece boasting a clientele of very important worldwide companies that choose Greece as their destination for adventure holidays. We are looking for trekking guides having a very special relationship with nature in order for us to meet with our growing stuff needs.

Trekking Guides:
Guiding for daily or longer holiday trips for Alpine Travel. Excursions take place outdoors and involve participation in activities such as hiking, mountain climbing, sea kayaking, mountain biking etc. Trekking guides are responsible for the smooth and safe carrying out of every excursion. Trekking guides must be prepared to act in any type of emergency situation. Standard First Aid Certification and CPR is required  to ensure your ability to assist with minor injuries in remote locations.

Working period: April 2010 to October 2010

Our trekking guides accompany groups in Crete , Santorini , Andros , Tinos , Naxos , Amorgos , Karpathos, Pindos, Pelion and Mt. Olympus,  for 8 or 15 day trips from April to October.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a good physical condition and speaks good English and French.

Requirements:
Age: 23-40
Good English and French
Excellent communication skills
Good physical condition
Prior experience in the field is a plus

Candidates will be hired based on an interview in English and French and a training period in company outdoor activities follows.
